Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field that combines electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering. Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field positioned at the convergence of mechanics, electronics, and computing, and its engineers are exceptionally well prepared to collaborate across the mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering domains. As a discipline, mechatronics serves as a vital foundation for the projected advancement of automation and the continued evolution of advanced manufacturing.
Mechatronics engineering revolves around the design, construction and operation of intelligent products and systems, stemming from the integration of hardware and software applications.
As mechatronics engineer, you’ll develop approaches to industrial problems employing mechanical and electronic solutions and computer applications. You will also learn to develop products by integrating diverse technologies to streamline processes and optimize applications. Mechatronics engineers design, implement, and evaluate factory production lines that blend manufacturing systems with advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
