Mission

The President’s Emerging Global Scholars Cohort, or PEGS, prepares tomorrow’s leaders to actively engage in their communities, develop global competencies, and grow as exceptional scholars. Upon selection for this elite cohort, students earn the PEGS minor which is composed of:

  • Academically challenging courses built upon the PEGS Pillars of leadership, service, global engagement, and professional development
  • Study abroad opportunities in Central America and Europe
  • Local and international community service opportunities
  • Scholarship support
  • All benefits affiliated with KSU Journey Honors College

The curricular and co-curricular programming provided in the PEGS program equips students to apply for elite graduate programs, prestigious scholarships and fellowships, and exceptional career opportunities.
