The Department of Fraternity & Sorority Life is committed to enriching students’ collegiate experience and fostering a community of values-based organizations through a commitment to accountability, courageous leadership, and stewardship. For over 40 years, fraternities and sororities at KSU have had a proud tradition of academic excellence, service to the community, and playing a significant role in the lives of hundreds of students and alumni.
Today, our community is comprised of 33 fraternities and sororities across four councils,
including 13 organizations that are open to all students. There are 1,800 members
who make every organization unique and vital to our vibrant community. Though the
mission and values may vary, each chapter has a rich history of promoting scholarship,
service, leadership, and community.

Join the College Panhellenic Council
Currently some of our Panhellenic Organizations are accepting members through Spring

Formal Recruitment Fall 2023
Registration opens May 15th.
The dates for Recruitment are as follows; August 8, 2023: Move-in and Orientation
August 9, 2023: Philanthropy / Open House (Meet all chapters)
KSU Interfraternity Council (IFC) consists of 10 Chapters and three Colonies. Registration
for formal recruitment will open May 15th. You can find more information about recruitment

***No alcohol, women, or tobacco will be permitted at IFC chapter recruitment events.
Join the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)
Interested in joining an MGC fraternity or sorority? Here are some helpful tips:
Attend "Meet MGC"! Meet MGC is a one-time requirement for anyone interested in joining an MGC Fraternity or Sorority.
Explore/Research- Visit the "Multicultural Greek Council" tab in the drop-down menu
to learn about the chapters recognized by KSU and what they can offer you! Choose
an organization that resonates with you and aligns with your personal values, goals,

Be Involved- Make yourself a marketable candidate academically and socially by being
disciplined in the classroom and a servant-leader in the community.
