  • Accounting graduate credits involvement as key to success

Angie Jackson gained the foothold she wanted at Kennesaw State by keeping busy and taking advantage of opportunities during her undergraduate experience – and she did it with intense determination. • Donors construct pathway to graduation through scholarship endowment

Brian and Kim Newsome estimate they have been intertwined with Kennesaw State University in some compacity for nearly a decade, whether it’s through attending Owl football games, watching their son earn his degree or through their company constructing facilities on campus. Now, motivated by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and other societal issues impacting KSU students, the company has created a scholarship endowment which, along with its support for capital projects on the Marietta campus, raises Albion’s recent giving to $125,000.  –  July 22, 2020

It was during these visits to the shop that he established his curiosity with the function and design of machinery, ultimately inspiring him to chase his calling as a future engineer. This month, Garcia will graduate from Kennesaw State University with a degree in mechanical engineering after an illustrious undergraduate career in the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology.  –  July 21, 2020
