Campus Postal Services is the primary source for shipping and receiving items for the KSU community, both internally and externally. We also provide United States Postal Service (USPS) for the entire campus & UPS Campus Ship for KSU Departments.
Here's what to know about sending and getting mail on campus:
- We receive a very high volume of packages daily. USPS mail and packages are processed on the day they arrive on campus, Monday through Friday.
- Campus Postal Services is not responsible for any mail items or delivery services that do not deliver the items directly to our warehouse.
- Please be aware that if the shipping carrier lists the shipping status as “delivered,” it does not mean it has reached the final destination, it means the package has reached campus.
- Recipients will receive an automated email from Campus Postal Services when the package has reached the Student Mail Center & is available for pickup. Students, please wait until you have received the email notification from Campus Postal Services to pick up your package.

- To ensure receipt, Student Mail Services will send two email notifications for packages during the 10 days. After 10 days, the item will be returned to the sender.

Who Can Receive Mail on Campus?
Mail and package delivery is only available for residential students. If you are a non-residential student, and you wish to receive mail on campus, you must complete the Campus Mailing Address Rental Form. The annual fee is only $40 and covers fall term through summer term. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis, and assignments are not guaranteed to stay the same year after year.
Campus Mailing Address Rental Form
Mail is accessible while the Student Mail Center is open. Lockers are accessible when the buildings are open.
The Student Mail Center Window is open Monday-Friday, 9:00-4:00 p.m. Hours of operation may vary throughout the year depending on time of year, holidays, unexpected closures, etc. For the most current posting of holiday hours of operation click here: Hours and Locations.
The Mailroom accepts trackable packages from DHL, FedEx, UPS, and the US Postal Service. The Mailroom does not accept freight shipments or local deliveries such as Walmart, Instacart, Amazon delivery, flower deliveries, or other non-trackable packages.
Yes, Amazon packages are accepted, but only those that are SHIPPED to campus. Occasionally, Amazon (and other companies) will use third-party delivery companies. These drivers often leave items in random locations, leave them unattended, and deliver them when campus is closed. The Mail Room takes no responsibility for these items. Unfortunately, there's little you can do to select the type of delivery Amazon uses. If given the option, always select "shipping" and not "delivery".
Food Delivery
KSU Campus Postal Services and the Student Mail Center are not responsible for food deliveries from Amazon Fresh, Grub Hub, Walmart, Door Dash, or Uber Eats. Food deliveries should be coordinated through each driver to the Student Center.
All About Amazon
Amazon Lockers
Marietta
If you would like your Amazon item to be delivered to the Amazon “Dugout” Lockers, you must choose the Amazon Dugout Locker as the delivery location, not just enter the address of the entire building in which the Lockers are housed.
When you checkout on Amazon, and you’re at the screen where you select the shipping address, you would click on the orange "a" pin icon to see nearby pick-up locations.
From there, choose “Amazon Hub Locker – Dugout.”
Once Amazon delivers to the “Dugout” Lockers location, you will receive a notification from Amazon and have three (3) days to pick up the item.
Amazon One-Time Passwords
For certain shipments, Amazon may require a One-Time Password. For these shipments, we recommend you email Campus Postal Services with the tracking number and password information so the mail clerks can accept and process the shipment. If you received a one-time password from Amazon, we recommend you email Campus Postal Services with the tracking number and one-time password code so that we can accept and process the package.
