Drop/Add begins on Monday, January 12 at 8am and ends on Friday, January 16 at 11:45pm.

The Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences Undergraduate Advising Center serves students who have declared a major, minor, an interest, or are considering a major, in the College. We assist students with appropriate course selection, fulfilling general education requirements, understanding pre-requisite requirements for their major, creating academic plans, and finding and referring students to other campus resources for their academic success.

Our goal is to help you make the most of your academic journey and we are here to support and guide you every step of the way. We cannot wait to collaborate with you and assist with building your plan to academic success!

Advising Appointments

Meet With An Advisor

Schedule a 30-minute appointment to meet with your Academic Advisor. This option is best for discussing your plan for future semesters, review your graduation progress, or address advising-related holds.

*Students later than 10 minutes to their appointment may be considered a no-show and will need to reschedule their appointment.

Note - Appointments are not available for the following days:

  • January 19, KSU closed for MLK Day
  • May 25, KSU closed for Memorial Day

Drop-In Advising

Spring Drop-In Schedule

Students can participate in drop-in advising (virtually or in-person) to meet with an Academic Advisor who is on duty to ask a quick question. These meetings typically last no more than 15 minutes and may involve a wait time.

Drop-in advising operates on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be scheduled. To ensure the best possible assistance, please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the listed advising end time. Remember to have your student ID number ready for check-in.

  • Monday/Tuesday, 9-11:30 AM
  • Wednesday/Thursday, 1-4 PM

Express Advising Schedule

No appointment availability during the weeks below. Drop-Ins only each day from 9-11:30am and 1-4pm.

  • May 4-May 8
    • Call (470) 578-7728 to request to meet with a drop-in advisor and provide your KSU ID#.
    • When the advisor is ready, they will email you a Microsoft Teams link to join. Need help? View these Microsoft Teams Instructions.
    • Have your KSU email open!
    • Once your email notification is sent, it's important to log in ASAP.
    • Come to 202 Willingham Hall.
    • Sign-up for advising at the front desk.
    • Wait for the first available advisor to call you back.
