Visions of Recovery

EXHIBITION DETAILS:

The Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA), in collaboration with the KSU Center for Young Adult Addiction & Recovery (CYAAR), is pleased to announce an open call for Visions of Recovery. Artists in and supporting recovery are invited to submit work reflecting how recovery from substance use disorders, eating disorders, or other addictive disorders has impacted their lives.
Members of the CYAAR team will work with the curator of the ZMA to jury this exhibition which will be installed in the satellite Fine Arts Gallery. This opportunity provides diverse members and supporters of the recovery community the ability to showcase the power of recovery to transform lives. CYAAR and the recovery community recognize National Recovery Month annually each September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nation’s strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery in all its forms possible.
