Recovery Exhibition

The Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA), in collaboration with the Center for Young Adult Addiction & Recovery (CYAAR), are pleased to host Visions of Recovery 2023. Artists in and supporting recovery have submitted work reflecting how recovery from substance use disorders, eating disorders, or other addictive disorders has impacted their lives. Members of the CYAAR team worked with the curator of the Zuckerman Museum of Art to jury this exhibition, installed in the satellite Fine Arts Gallery for the duration of September. This opportunity provides diverse members and supporters of the recovery community the ability to showcase the power of recovery to transform lives. CYAAR and the recovery community recognize National Recovery Month annually each September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nation’s strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery in all its forms possible.
