The mission of Health Promotion and Wellness is to improve the balance of the intellectual, emotional, physical, social, environmental, and spiritual development of students through awareness and education.
To support a healthy learning environment for students, Health Promotion and Wellness offers a variety of services and programs at a free or discounted cost. The programs and services offered support students’ overall wellness through health education workshops and events including, but not limited to, stress management programs, nutrition consultations and workshops, risk reduction education, CPR certification, and more.

Adulting 101: Grocery Shopping on a Budget
Learn how to conquer the grocery store without draining your wallet—smart shopping tips, savvy swaps, and real-life hacks for college students! Hosted in partnership with CARE Services Adulting 101 is a monthly workshop series designed to educate students on key life skills to utilize during and after college, with the goal of eliminating informational barriers that may prevent students from reaching degree completion and achieving post-college success. Food Fight! Do you follow a plant-based diet? No problem! Are you a meat and dairy lover? No problem! Come one, come all, and gear up for the food fight: plant-based vs. traditional. Two teams will make Chicken Fried Rice, and two teams will make a vegetarian version. Who will emerge victorious? Taste them both and make the call! Cooking demos are a hands-on class where you will learn how to make delicious and budget-friendly meals! Space is limited, and registration is required. The RSVP will open 10 days before the event.
