KSU's Geer College of the Arts Welcomes Shadow Girls Cult's Unraveling for Residency and Performances

Kennesaw State University’s Department of Theatre and Performance Studies is bringing an innovative, genre-bending work to campus this fall with Unraveling, an award-winning shadow performance by Shadow Girls Cult, the creative duo of Cass Bray and Zane Exactly. The artists will be in residence for 10 days, collaborating with KSU students and presenting three public performances of Unraveling.

"Macbeth" takes over Department of Theatre & Performance Studies at Kennesaw State

What happens when people with power go unchecked, especially when that power is driven by desires and emotions? Is morality lost? What are the repercussions of tyranny? Kennesaw State University’s Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) will examine those questions as they present “Macbeth” running Feb. 13-23 at the Stillwell Theater. TPS Faculty and Director Marlon Andrew Burnley says that the play “explores the destructive power of ambition, the fragility of the human soul, and the consequences of choices made in pursuit of power.”

Summer Arts Intensives Offered at Kennesaw State University College of the Arts

Kennesaw State University College of the Arts is offering high school students and rising college freshmen an opportunity to experience the arts on a collegiate level in summer 2025. In this year’s Summer Arts Intensive programs, students may choose from acting, dance, design tech, music, musical theatre, or the visual arts.
