The Kennesaw State University Department of Theatre & Performance Studies presents School Girls; or, the African Mean Girls Play, a bold and uproariously funny work by acclaimed playwright Jocelyn Bioh. Directed by Assistant Professor of Acting Jacqueline Springfield, the production opens February 17 and runs through February 22, 2026, in the Onyx Theater.

From the Stage to the Screen: KSU Alumna Rachel Wansker Brings Creatures to Life in Film and Television

A 2016 alumna of Kennesaw State University’s Geer College of the Arts, Wansker is now working as a professional puppeteer and performer in film and television. Her most recent work can be seen in the Paramount Pictures feature Primate, where she served as the principal puppeteer for the chimpanzee character, bringing nuanced expression, emotion and realism to a creature that feels strikingly – and terrifyingly – alive.

KSU's Geer College of the Arts Welcomes Shadow Girls Cult's Unraveling for Residency and Performances

Kennesaw State University’s Department of Theatre and Performance Studies is bringing an innovative, genre-bending work to campus this fall with Unraveling, an award-winning shadow performance by Shadow Girls Cult, the creative duo of Cass Bray and Zane Exactly. The artists will be in residence for 10 days, collaborating with KSU students and presenting three public performances of Unraveling.
