Phillip Boyd

Assistant Director for Academic Integrity

Phillip joined SCAI as the Assistant Director for Academic Integrity in September 2021. His responsibilities include upholding academic standards and investigating all faculty complaints and referrals for student academic misconduct, as well as serving as the university’s hearing officer for academic integrity violations. Phillip was previously the Associate Director in the Department of Student Community Ethics at Western Carolina University and the Associate Director of Residence Life/Assistant Dean of Students at Virginia Wesleyan University. He received his Master of Education in Higher Education/Educational Leadership at Valdosta State University and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Georgia.

Nicole Kogan

Assistant Director for Student Conduct

Nicole joined SCAI as the Assistant Director for Student Conduct in January 2017. Her responsibilities include investigating suspension and expulsion level cases arising from violations of the Student Codes of Conduct, adjudicating lower-severity policy violations, and provides trainings, programs, and presentations for and with campus partners, faculty, and students. Nicole received her B.A. in Philosophy from Wittenberg University (Ohio), her MS Ed. for College Student Development and Administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and is currently working towards her Ed.D. in Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Georgia. Previously, Nicole was the Residential Conduct Coordinator at the University of West Georgia, the Residence Life Coordinator for Conduct and Administration at Florida International University, and served as a Residence Life Coordinator at FIU and Eastern Washington University.
