Access Study Space and Helpful Technologies

The KSU Psychology Lab is a resource center for psychology majors, minors, and any student enrolled in a psychology course. Students can visit in person or online to receive support tailored to their academic needs.

The Lab offers tutoring for PSYC 1101, 2500, 3000, and 4100, along with help in APA writing, research methods, SPSS, statistics, and core skill development. Our goal is to support your success, and our Student Lab Assistants are here to guide you.

Psychology Lab Support and Guidelines

 

  • Student Lab Assistants are available to assist with: 
    • Course content for PSYC 1101, 2500, 3000, and 4100 
    • APA formatting and citation support 
    • SPSS data analysis 
    • Statistical concepts and research guidance 
    • Additional topics may be covered  
    Students are encouraged to attempt assignments independently before seeking help. Lab Assistants offer guidance and clarification but will not provide direct answers. 
  • To ensure the space remains respectful and effective for all students: 
    • Please avoid bringing food or uncovered drinks near computers 
    • Maintain low conversation volume and use the hallway for phone calls 
    • Lab materials may not be removed without the Lab Coordinator’s consent 
    • Computers should be logged off at least 5 minutes before closing time
