Kennesaw State's largest day of service has brought over 2,100 volunteers together since 2014. We are proud to help numerous organizations by connecting them with our students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members through volunteerism.

Day of Service

Event Information

The KSU Day of Service is designed as an opportunity to say thanks to our local community which has supported the university in many important ways throughout its history. Volunteers participate in a variety of projects that meet the specific needs of community organizations throughout Cobb County and Metro Atlanta.

PLEASE NOTE: The Day of Service schedule and waiver information is listed below.

  • Check-in begins at 8:30 AM; Kick-off event begins at 9 AM; Depart for service sites at 9:30 AM. Volunteers will serve at sites from 10 AM to 1 PM.
  • Service sites vary from year to year based on partner availability. Previous sites include esp Atlanta, BEATS, Inc, Keep Cobb Beautiful, North Cobb Regional Library, Papayago Rescue House Center, and Simple Needs Georgia. Full site details for each year are available on GivePulse when registration opens approximately one month before the event.
  • Transportation via Big Owl Bus (BOB) will be provided to students to specific sites.
  • All volunteers must complete the registration process through GivePulse which includes an event liability waiver.
