Exercise Science and Sport Management

The Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management (ESSM) is an academic unit offering undergraduate degrees in Sports Science, specializing in Exercise Science and Sport Management, alongside pre-professional preparation options and a minor in Nutritional Science. At the graduate level, our department provides advanced degrees in Exercise Science and specialized programs in Prosthetics & Orthotics.

Health Promotion and Physical Education

The Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education (HPE) offers undergraduate degrees in Health and Physical Activity Leadership, Integrated Health Science, and Public Health Education, along with a minor in Public Health and a Coaching certificate. These programs cater to a range of academic interests and prepare students for impactful careers in health promotion and education.

Social Work and Human Services

Within the Department of Social Work and Human Services, we excel in qualitative and quantitative research, community engagement, and professional service. Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth

The Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth offers a comprehensive post-secondary educational experience designed for students with varying intellectual or developmental abilities who may not meet traditional higher education admission criteria. Our program provides a pathway for students to engage as non-degree seeking audit students in university courses while focusing on social integration, career exploration, and skill development.

Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Social Growth and Development, highlighting their achievement in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
