New Ways to Engage with Wellstar Advising

Connect with Wellstar Advising through flexible options designed to support your academic success. Whether you need a quick check-in or a detailed planning session, our advisors are here to help with scheduling, drop-in availability, and important guidelines for the semester.

Schedule an Appointment

Schedule a 30-minute appointment to meet with your assigned Academic Advisor. This option is best to discuss your plan for future semesters, review your progress towards graduation, or address advising related holds.

  • Students later than 10 minutes to their appointment may be considered a no-show and will need to reschedule their appointment.
  • Students requesting a virtual appointment will need to log into Microsoft Teams to join an audio or video Team call.
  • Need help logging into your EAB/Navigate account to schedule an appointment?

Drop-Ins (Virtual or In-Person)

Students can participate in drop-in advising (virtually or in-person) to meet with an Academic Advisor. These meetings are limited to 15 minutes and may involve a waiting period.

  • Drop-in advising operates on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be scheduled
  • Click on this link to access the Teams Channel.
  • To Check-In, you will need to log into your Microsoft Teams account and input your NetID (the first part of your student email), major, and whether you are in person or virtual. A QR code will be provided for in-person drop-ins.
    • Please note that we do not send meeting links to students directly
  • Once you are checked in, please continue to monitor your teams chat and an advisor will call you via Teams when it is your turn. If you do not respond to the call within five minutes, you will be marked as a no show, you are welcome to put yourself back in the advising queue with a new chat
  • If for any reason you need to leave the chat, please reply to your own post with that information
  • Please note the following advising related matters that are better addressed in a scheduled appointment and not a drop-in:
    • long-term academic planning
    • satisfactory academic progress (SAP) appeals
    • re-admissions/first-time transfer inquiries
