Meet the Team
General Office Rules
- Due to scheduling availability, Advisors are unable to "squeeze students in" between
their appointments or allow for same-day appointments. No exceptions.
- Due to the volume of requests, emailing individual advisors may not be the fastest
way to ensure that more time-sensitive needs are met. Please read our "How to Visit" section for the best ways to connect with our team.

Roles and Responsibilities
An academic advisor is a student's guide to success at Kennesaw State University.
The advisement process allows a student to create a relationship with an advisor who
can assist with planning a educational career, learning the skills needed for academic
success, and connecting the student to a variety of campus resources and services.
Academic advising is a collaborative process between student and advisor. The student's
relationship with an advisor is a two-way street by which both have defined responsibilities
for ensuring a successful partnership.
