Mark your calendars! Please join us on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chastain Pointe Studios on the Kennesaw campus.

The Spring Arts Festival at Kennesaw State University is an annual community event offering the chance for art lovers of all ages to partake in visual and performing arts activities. This popular arts festival event near metro Atlanta is FREE to attend and open to the public.

Parking: Parking for this event will be at KSU's Town Point and we will have shuttles to transport guests to Chastain Pointe for the event. The address for parking is 3391 Town Point Dr NW, Kennesaw 30144

    Chastain Pointe 115 houses the studios for the Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking programs. Opened in Fall 2020, each drawing and painting studio has over 1400 square feet of workspace. The printmaking studio is comprised of approximately 7000 square feet. It houses distinct working areas for book arts, intaglio, letterpress, lithography, papermaking, relief, and serigraphy.

  • Celebrate spring and the visual arts with us at the Spring Arts Festival! This annual Festival features demonstrations and hands-on workshops in many two- and three-dimensional media. A pin-up show invites local artists and students to compete in four categories: elementary, middle, high school, and community. Experience all that the visual arts has to offer at our free, family-friendly Festival.

  • We encourage public and private teachers and schools of the surrounding community to participate in our Pin-up Show as groups. 

    Delivering Artwork?

    Teachers who have organized student artwork to be presented for the Pin-Up show may deliver artworks in a folder or portfolio to Chastain Pointe 115:
    Thu. 3/21 3:00 p.m. - 6 p.m.
    Fri. 3/22 3:00 p.m. - 6 p.m.
    Sat. 3/23 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

    Please note: to be included in the judging, all artwork must be received by 12:30p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024. 

    Please check to see that all artwork is labeled with

    • student artist’s name
    • teacher’s name
    • schools name
    • grade level

    The Pin-up Show entries should be accompanied with a list of the artworks and the names of the students.

Enter the Pin-Up Show

Any media is allowed as long as the work can be mounted to a bulletin board/wall with no more than four push pins (provided at the Festival) and works should be less than 12"x12"x12" in size. 

  • Enter in advance by dropping off your artwork at Chastain Pointe Wednesday 3/20/24 through Friday 3/22/24 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. or via scheduled delivery.*
  • Enter on the day of between 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Judging between 1 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Awards 2:00 p.m. 
  • Artwork pickup from 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

Teachers can deliver 10 works per school. Artwork from schools must be delivered in some kind of containment (folder, portfolio etc.) that is clearly labeled with the school's name and a list containing the student names and titles of all the artworks should be included.
