What is the Department of Student Activities?
Student Activities is the department that supports Student Media publications, all Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), and large scale student programs and activities. We are here to help you be connected to the KSU community and get involved.

Where do I find information on upcoming events?
Where do my students fees go?
The Department of Student Activities is dedicated to the transparency of how your Student Activities Fee is used at KSU. Here are just a few ways your student activity fee is put to work through services, resources, activities, and events from the nonacademic side of college life.
Student Activities fosters a dynamic campus environment by connecting KSU students to student organizations, campus programs, and events leading to moments of learning, ownership, community building, and self-discovery. We like to think of ourselves as a classroom - without walls. Below you will find brief information about the many things we provide - we hope your KSU experience will be richer because of us!
- Student Media - The Sentinel, Owl Radio, and The Peak are all student-led publications and offer students the opportunity to gain experience in print, broadcast, online media, advertising, PR, graphic design, web design, and more.
- Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) - Over 270+ RSOs at KSU provide transformative experiences and opportunities for students to grow as individuals, leaders, and community members. The Department of Student Activities works proactively to guide RSOs by providing education, training, and consultation.
- Large-scale student programs and activities - Kennesaw Activities Board (KAB) and Marietta Activities Council (MAC) are responsible for turning your student FEES into FUN through concerts, festivals, food, and more. KSU Day, Homecoming, Weeks of Welcome, and many great events throughout the school year.
