Description:
Conflict resolution strategy training in a foster care setting will equip foster parents,caregivers, child welfare professionals and attorneys with vital and proven tools tomanage and de-escalate conflicts in a trauma-informed, empathetic manner.
This invaluable training focuses on the specific drivers of conflict within foster caredynamics, enhancement of communication skills, active listening, emotionalregulation, and collaborative problem-solving.
Participants will learn to recognizethe impact of trauma on behavior, set consistent boundaries, and use of restorativepractices and conflict coaching to rebuild trust and relationships with traumatizedfoster children.
By fostering a safe and supportive environment, this training willhelp reduce tension, promote healing, and improve outcomes for children in care.
