University Mentoring Council

The Department of Student Leadership and Service is proposing a University-wide Mentoring Council in which mentoring programs and initiatives throughout KSU can form a network to collaborate for greater synergy around all aspects of mentoring (i.e. peer mentoring, professional mentoring, academic mentoring, K-12 mentoring, group-based mentoring, etc.). Goals of this newly established council will include discussion of mentoring software to track analytics with mentoring, event collaborations or co-sponsorship, professional development needs of program managers, best practices and shared mentoring resources for program development and improvement.

For more information about this initiative or if you want to become involved, please contact Nicole Simmons, Coordinator for Mentoring Initiatives at 470-578-6700 or email below.
