KSU CCSE Global Game Jam

Overview:
The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest game creation event, where tens of thousands of participants in over 100 countries gather for a 48-hour challenge to build a playable game based on a surprise global theme. Kennesaw State University’s College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) proudly hosts an official GGJ site each January on the Marietta campus, welcoming students, alumni, and community developers.

Why It Matters:
This event is a celebration of innovation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Participants rapidly turn ideas into working games, all while collaborating across disciplines like programming, design, art, music, and narrative writing.
