• Boren Awards for International Study: This scholarship is for study in world areas underrepresented in study abroad and critical to national security in the United States. Ranging from novice to superior, all Boren Awardees are committed to learning languages and increasing their proficiency.

 

• Critical Language Scholarship: Pursue an immersive summer language program in countries around the world.

 

• Fulbright UK Summer Institute: The Fulbright UK Summer Institutes are three-to-four week programs for freshmen and sophomores. Participants explore the culture, heritage and history of the UK while experiencing higher education at a UK university.

 

• Gilman Scholarship: This opportunity is for students seeking study abroad opportunities who are Pell Grant eligible.

• CSPC Presidential Fellows Program: The CSPC Program is designed to equip students to become civic-minded leaders that can guide the future. Throughout the academic year, fellows learn about leadership & governance, hone their research skills, and engage in civil discourse with public officials, policy experts, and their peers.

 

• Harry S. Truman Scholarship: Intended for juniors, this scholarship is for students planning to attend graduate or professional school. The student's career plans should include governmental or non-governmental forms of public service.

 

• Voyager Scholarship: The Voyager Scholarship is a two-year leadership and development program to equip the nation's next leaders with the tools needed for public service.

• DAAD RISE: RISE offers undergraduates from US institutions the opportunity to pursue summer research internships in Germany. No prior-German language experience is required.

 

• Barry Goldwater Scholarship: The premier undergraduate research scholarship for sophomore and junior STEM students looking to pursue a research-based career.

• Fulbright US Student Program: Fulbright allows students to teach English abroad, pursue a master's degree, or conduct research in over 140 countries globally. 

 

• Gates-Cambridge Scholarship: This opportunity is for students interested in pursuing post-graduate studies at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

 

• Rhodes Scholarship: For students to pursue post-graduate studies at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.

 

• Marshall Scholarship: For students interested in pursuing post-graduate studies at any UK institution.

 

• JET Program: This opportunity allows recent graduate and young professionals the opportunity to teach English in Japan and live with local communities.

 

• Luce Scholars Program: Intended for seniors, graduate students, and young working professionals, this program provides stipends, language training, and individualized professional placement in Asia.

 

• Schwarzman Scholars: Schwarzman Scholars is a highly selective, one-year master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing that is designed to prepare the next generation of global leaders for the challenges of the future. Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements by August 1 before orientation begins.
