The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The program teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Available only to current KSU students, staff, and faculty. A valid KSU ID is required. Classes are taught via a blended learning format. Blended learning combines online learning with an in-person skills session where participants practice skills and demonstrate competency. To register for class: First Aid/CPR/AED Program - Student Affairs Cost: $48 Refunds will only be given if cancellation is requested a minimum of 5 business days prior to the scheduled class.Fur-Get Your Stress

Food Fight! Do you follow a plant-based diet? No problem! Are you a meat and dairy lover? No problem! Come one, come all, and gear up for the food fight: plant-based vs. traditional. Two teams will make traditional chocolate pumpkin bread, and two teams will make vegan chocolate pumpkin bread. Who will emerge victorious? Taste them both and make the call! Cooking demos are a hands-on class where you will learn how to make delicious and budget-friendly meals! Space is limited, and registration is required. The RSVP will open 10 days before the event. Classes are held in the Student Recreation and Activity Center Room 1220 (Kitchen)
