Undergraduate and Graduate Labs

The Wellstar College School of Nursing Learning Resource Center is a busy and dynamic training environment. The center allows for active student engagement in a realistic patient-care setting. Students are able to practice low-risk, high-frequency situations as well as low-frequency, high-risk situations in an effort to improve performance in the clinical setting.

The Learning Resource Center utilizes innovative educational practices and state-of-the-art technology to create a realistic, hands-on clinical learning environment to enhance clinical reasoning and skills competence, provide the opportunity for research, and deliver service to the community.

All Bachelor of Science in Nursing students utilize the labs for

  • Physical Examination Skills—acquisition and testing
  • Clinical Simulation—individual and team-based training

Graduate students have the opportunity to utilize the labs for
