All CCSE students are welcome to attend Employer Networking Night. To make the event
as useful as possible, you'll be in small discussion groups. Spots are limited.

Tips for Success
- Dress it up. To make a lasting impression, iron your button downs and grab your nice jackets. Use the night as a dress rehearsal for interviews.
- Arrive early. You will get to meet all companies, but if you are most interested in speaking to one particular company, get to its table early. Spots fill fast.
- Be enthusiastic. We are all social creatures. Smile; make eye contact; shake hands. Curiosity, kindness and good energy are soft skills employers crave.
- Ask questions. Research the companies in advance, and prepare one smart question to ask each company. The more specific and thoughtful the question, the more professionals will remember you.
- Print resumes. Bring copies of your resumes. If you strike up a good conversation with an industry professional, ask if you can share your resume with them.
- Follow up. If an industry expert invites you to follow up, set aside time later in the eveing or early the next day to reach out.
When you fully prepare like this, you'll make the most of your time.
