Minors Compliance 

Programs Serving Minors 

Chaperone Ratios

Ages 4-5: 1 adult for every 5 participants

Ages 5-8: 1 adult for every 6 participants

Ages 9- 14: 1 adult for every 8 participants

Ages 15-17: 1 adult for every 10 participants

 

KSU Safety and Security

1 campus safety police officer is required for every 250 people gathering in a single space at a given time (i.e. parent night, parent presentation, etc.)

Camps with participant count above 250 will not be required to have an officer onsite daily for camp operations

Check-in/Check-outs are excluded, unless otherwise specified

 

Contract

Insurance

Licensee shall, at its own cost and expense, obtain and maintain Commercial Liability Insurance, which shall include, but not be limited to, coverage for personal and contractual liability. The insurance shall have minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 aggregate. The insurance must cover Licensee’s use of the Licensed Premises and be issued by an insurance company legally licensed and authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia. In addition, Licensee shall, at its own cost and expense, obtain and maintain Workers Compensation Insurance with the following minimum limits:

Workers Compensation:

Bodily Injury by Accident – each employee $100,000

Bodily Injury by Disease – each employee $100,000

Bodily Injury by Disease – policy limit $500,000

Licensee shall provide proof of such insurance and name Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University as an additional insured under such policy. Licensee shall furnish Owner with a copy of the policy and evidence of full payment of the premium thereon at least ten (10) days prior to occupancy and use of the premises, and said policy shall have a clause showing that the insurance is in force and non-cancelable prior to the occupancy and use of the premises by the Licensee in the absence of ten (10) days prior written notice by the Insurer to Owner prior to the occupancy and use of the premises by Licensee pursuant to this Agreement.  Licensee’s failure to obtain and furnish evidence of the required insurance shall constitute default. 

Minimum Guarantees

Licensee shall provide Owner with minimum contracted guaranteed numbers for conference attendance, and, if applicable, for lodging and food service, at signing.  Licensee shall provide Owner with final guaranteed numbers for conference attendance, and, if applicable, for lodging and food service, no later than ten (10) business days before the earliest reserved date.  Final guaranteed numbers must be greater than or equal to minimum contracted guaranteed numbers. Owner does not guarantee availability of facilities, food or lodging in which exceeds 105% of the final guaranteed numbers for head and room counts, respectively.

Payments

25% of the total amount is due at the time the contract is signed.
