No further changes to students' Spring 2026 schedule can be made after 11:45pm

January 19th (Monday) MLK Jr Day

January 26th (Monday) Early Alert Progress Reports Begin

Undergraduate courses: ANY instructor may submit an alert for a student at any time. FYE, CS 3305 & STAT 1401 look for an email from Sarah Matta to complete reports for your entire class.

Graduate courses: you may fill this form out at any time, however it is most effective 3-6 weeks into the semester.  

February 13th (Friday) Early Alert Progress Reports Due

You will get an email from Ashley prior to this date if a specific deliverable is expected of you.

March 9th - 15th (Monday - Sunday) Spring Break

Holiday

March 19th (Thursday) Fall 2026 Registration tickets begin opening

Please encourage your students to enroll as soon as their time ticket opens. Academic Advising is available to assist students with class planning and registration issues.

March 27th (Friday) Mid-Term Grades are due by 11:45pm

Ashley can assist with preparing import files if you have a large class. Submit a request for her help.

April 3rd (Friday)

Last day to Withdraw with a W grade

Students have until 11:45pm to withdraw from a course and not have it impact their GPA. Academic Advising can help students understand the impact of their choice.

May 4th (Monday)

Star Wars Day

Last day of classes

May the Fourth be with you.

May 5th - 11th (Tuesday-Monday) Final Exams

 

May 14th (Thursday) Final grades are due at 12pm Noon

 

May 12th - 16th (Tuesday - Saturday) Commencement ceremonies

The date & time for the CCSE commencement ceremony should be posted after March 2nd.

  • Students who need help academically
    • Submit an Early Alert report for students at-risk of being unsuccessful in class.
    • Tutoring for CCSE classes is available in J-253 Lexis Nexis Open Lab and Math tutoring is available from the SMART center.
    • The Student Success Programs (SSP) office specializes in Freshman and Sophomore student success by providing things like student success coaching and workshops.
    • Wing Leaders are available for academic support, community building, social integration and personal growth for Freshmen and Sophomores.
    • The Writing Center makes writing for any class easier and more effective. Peer writing assistants will work with students in person or online to help them develop a topic, organize their research, revise and edit drafts, document their sources, and much more.
    • The CCSE Advising Team can help students with time management, study, and planning skills.

    • The Honors College offers programs for highly talented and motivated students.
    • Research can engage and challenge high-achieving students in new ways.
    • Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) are an opportunity for students to gain valuable research skills and academic credit through their participation in faculty research
